No. 9 Eden Prairie at No. 10 Benilde-St. Margaret’s
2:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8
At St. Louis Park Rec Center

The fight for seeding in Section 6AA is intense, as the top four teams are all slugging it out and the next few in line are just as dangerous. Eden Prairie and Benilde-St. Margaret’s square off for the third time already this winter on Saturday, unusual in that they aren’t in the same conference. Benilde-St. Margaret’s won the first meeting, 5-2 on Dec. 28 in the Sports Authority Holiday Classic. Spencer Naas (24-24-48) and Carter Roo (12-19-31) each had a goal and two assists for the Red Knights, while Jalen Long (9-6-0, 3.53, .867) made 18 saves. Eden Prairie took the rematch, 6-5 on Jan. 21 as Michael Graham (14-16-30) scored 2:14 into overtime, his second goal of the game. University of Nebraska-Omaha recruit Steven Spinner (15-18-33) also had two goals and three assists for the Eagles. Now comes the rubber-match in this star-studded series — and to the winner goes the likely No. 2 seed in the playoffs.
