Minnetonka at Eden Prairie
7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 19

Minnetonka and Eden Prairie are conference and section rivals, making this matchup more than a game between ranked Class 4A teams.

Eden Prairie has rattled off three straight wins since losing its season-opener to Eastview. The No. 10 Eagles (3-1) are led by senior forward Emma Boehm (15 ppg), who is showing some deft touch from the free-throw line (13-for-13 in the first two games) and from behind the three-point line (5-for-6 in the last two games). Senior center Rachael Platt and freshman forward Christianna Carr each average 8.8 ppg and give the Eagles two options as a second scoring threat.

Minnetonka may be looking for payback after Eden Prairie defeated the Skippers 60-49 in last year’s Section 6 championship game.

Junior guard Courtney Frederickson (15.0 points per game) and junior forward Lizzie Odegard (10.8 ppg) lead No. 2 Minnetonka (5-1).
