Wayzata (6-2) continues to find itself in a low-scoring and tightly contested games, as six of the eight have been decided by a goal or two.

Following the back-to-back losses to Hermantown and Duluth East at the close of November, the No. 7-2A Trojans have won four straight with victories over No. 11-2A Hill-Murray (2-0) and No. 2-1A Breck (2-1) included.
