Hermantown at Grand Rapids
7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 5

In what should be strong test for both teams and an entertaining show for spectators, Hermantown heads to Grand Rapids on Tuesday night.

The No. 1-1A Hawks (10-1-1) have an impressive body of work on their resume and are averaging more than five goals per game. They also have a five-game winning streak to take into the new year.

Over the course of three days, Hermantown easily worked its way past No. 6-1A Delano (5-2), Roseville (6-3) and Cloquet-Esko-Carlton (8-3) to win the Hilltopper Holiday Classic in Duluth last week.

Senior forward Cole Koepke has 17 goals and 32 points and junior Ryan Sandelin has 14 goals and 15 assists for the Hawks.

Mitchell Mattson, who has 11 goals and 25 points in 13 games, leads the No. 11-2A Thunderhawks in scoring.
