Greenway at Hibbing/Chisholm
7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 6

The last meeting between these teams on Dec. 22 in Coleraine went in Hibbing/Chisholm’s favor (4-2), but Greenway has taken off since.

The Raiders (18-3), ranked No. 7 in the Class 1A coaches' poll, have been impressive all the way around, averaging 5.71 goals for and 1.67 goals against, while their power play is hitting at 34 percent and their penalty kill operating at 87 percent.

Individually, three players are approaching 50 points, as Kole Kalisch (24-21-45), Grant Troumbly (20-28-48) and Taylor Lantz (18-30-48) continue to put up big numbers.

Since the two-goal loss to the No. 4-1A Bluejackets, Greenway has won nine of 10 games, including the Schwan Cup Open Division championship, with the only blemish a 2-1 loss to No.1-1A Hermantown on Jan. 12.

Hibbing/Chisholm (19-2) is coming off just its second loss of the season. The Bluejackets ran into the state's hottest goalie - Nick Althaus - at No. 3-1A St. Cloud Apollo and fell 3-1.

Bluejackets junior defenseman Scott Perunovich, a Minnesota-Duluth recruit, enters the week with 44 assists and 54 points for the season.

This game is also of importance for the postseason, as Greenway, Hibbing/Chisholm and Hermantown all compete in Class 1A, Section 7.
