Greenway vs. East Grand Forks
3:15 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 10

East Grand Forks, the Class 1A state champion two years ago, looks to rebound from an average season, while Greenway is a team on the upswing with a senior class that returns point producers and experience from the past two seasons.

The No. 9-1A Green Wave have started well and enter the contest a bit more battle-tested after facing No. 18-1A Totino-Grace (W, 6-5) and No. 5-1A St. Cloud Cathedral (T, 4-4) last weekend.

East Grand Forks (2-0-1) is led by junior forward Coby Stauss’ five goals while senior forwards Bauer Brown and Nick Lund each have four for a squad that averages six goals per game.

The No. 7-1A Raiders (3-0) are averaging four goals per game, led by seniors Grant Troumbly, (seven points and four goals) and Taylor Lantz (three goals and six points). However, Greenway has faced competition on the level of East Grand Forks.
