Becker vs. Albany
7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 6

Albany beat Becker twice last season, but the Bulldogs got the last bite following an appearance in the Class 3A state tournament. The Huskies ended their year early after losing in the Class 2A, Section 6 quarterfinals.

But this is a new season and both teams need to rebound from early losses, meaning Tuesday's contest carries even more weight.

Becker lost plenty from last year’s team, which saw the graduation of its top two scorers in Alex Johnson and Alexa Hanowski and the transfer of Kenzie Kramer to St. Michael-Albertville.

Madi Kerzmann (18 points) and Renee Tripp (11 points) led the Bulldogs (0-1) in a 56-48 season-opening loss to Simley on Dec. 3.

Albany (1-1) fell to section rival Osakis 54-46 on Dec. 2 despite a team-high 11 points form Madison Schmitz and 11 from Erin Navratil.
