Centennial vs. Minnetonka

In what might be the most competitive games of Thursday’s Gold Division quarterfinals in the Schwan Cup at Ridder Arena, Centennial and Minnetonka meet for the second straight year. The Skippers won last year’s contest 3-2, and the victor of this year’s meeting will face the winner of No. 5-2A St. Thomas Academy and No. 14-2 Wayzata.

The No. 8-2A Skippers begin the week with a 3-4 overall record and will work to establish more consistent play as December closes. 

The No. 10-2A Cougars (4-1, 1-1) have been solid in terms of goals production (5.0 goals for and 2.0 goals against) through the first month of the season.
