Heritage Christian at Central Minnesota Christian
12:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 28

Both schools have combined for only three losses and will meet in a battle of top private schools in Class 1A.

Ethan Brouwer (13.9 ppg) returns to lead a Central Minnesota Christian team that has taken third place in the last two state tournaments. Brouwer earned all-tournament honors last year when the Bluejays (13-1, 5-0) gave up only a tournament record two turnovers in their third place game against Red Lake last year.

The No. 3-1A Bluejays have had that same poise this season, currently turning the ball over 2.4 times per game while shooting 42.9 percent from long range and 50.1 percent overall.

Heritage Christian’s duo of C.J. Woda (21.4 ppg) and Zach Johansen (21.1 ppg) will need to continue their impressive season along with the No. 6-1A Eagles' (11-2, 5-0) balanced attack that features four players with 20 or more assists.
