Holy Family Catholic vs. Lakeville South
7:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 4

Holy Family Catholic has been tested by a midseason lull, but the No. 7-2A Fire seem to have taken off again. Holy Family Catholic (14-3-1, 5-0) enters the week averaging three goals better than their opponents (4.67 to 1.61) and has won seven straight games.

Eight Fire players have scored at least seven goals this season, while only two, Wisconsin commits Ben Almquist (12-23-35) and Patrick Reddan (10-12-22), scoring in double digits.

Lakeville South (11-6-1, 7-5) snapped a two-game skid Saturday night with a 6-2 win at Eastview, outshooting the Lightning 37-13 and converting on the power play twice. The Cougars have a solid goals differential at 4.00 to 1.89, but have lost four one-goal games this season. A win over Holy Family Catholic could jumpstart both Lakeville South's confidence and a run toward the section tournament.

Wisconsin recruit Josh Ess leads Lakeville South in offense with seven goals and 17 assists for 24 points.
