Lakeville North vs. Lakeville South
7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 7

The crosstown rivalry moves to Ames Arena on Tuesday night as Lakeville North and Lakeville South square off for the second time this winter. The Panthers hold the upper hand historically, though last meeting required overtime before Lakeville North won 3-2.

The Panthers (15-4-2, 10-2-1) are looking to get back on track after losing two of its last three games. No. 7-2A Lakeville North has four games to reclaim first place in the South Suburban Conference, starting Tuesday with Lakeville South.

Junior forward Blake Brandt (19-19-38) and senior Henry Enebak (5-22-37) lead the Panthers in scoring.

Lakeville South (12-7-1, 8-5) has struggled in recent weeks against top-shelf competition, losing close games to Lakeville North, Prior Lake, Burnsville and Holy Family Catholic. The Cougars are learning how to compete against the elite teams, but need to learn how to finish off wins.

Goaltender Isaiah DiLaura, a 6-foot-2 junior, is a big reason why Lakeville South has been competitive, tallying five shutouts, a 1.82 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage.
