Robbinsdale Armstrong vs. Robbinsdale Cooper
5 p.m., Friday, Sept. 29

A seven-minute car ride separates the Robbinsdale Armstrong and Robbinsdale Cooper campuses, and with close games in recent years, the rivalry is fierce as ever.

The Falcons (2-1, 2-0) look to get a win against the No. 5-5A Hawks (4-0, 2-0) after losses in each of the last two seasons, including a 16-14 defeat last year.

To win this year, Armstrong could ride senior running back Jesse Sherwood (252 rushing yards, 4 TDs).

It's on defense where Armstrong will have its work cut out, especially against the potent passing attack led by Cooper's senior quarterback Cameron King (733 yards, 12 TDs).
