Roseau at No. 3-A Warroad
7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 28
At The Gardens Arena, Warroad

It’s time for installment No. 2 of the greatest rivalry in Minnesota high school hockey, this time at The Gardens in Warroad. In the first meeting in Roseau, Warroad’s Kobe Roth (36-39-75) exploded for four goals in a wild 6-4 victory for the Warriors. But he’s just part of the top scoring line in the state along with Jared Bethune (29-45-74) and Kyle Sylvester (28-43-71), although Roseau features its own potent top line with Alex Strand (20-30-50), Zach Yon (24-26-50) and Alex Halstensgard (11-15-26). It could be more firewagon hockey Tuesday night. First team to 10 goals wins? Don’t slight the defense of both teams, though, as Roseau’s Cole Bjugson (9-32-41) may be the best all-around defenseman in the state, and Warroad has a tough crew led by Nick Jaycox (3-15-18).
