The first Overtime Radio Show of the 2011-12 season kicks off with a bang as Minnesota Coaches Association Hall of Fame inductee Cary Eades took time out of his busy schedule to discuss his coaching career at Warroad. Eades currently is an associate head coach at the University of North Dakota.
While at Warroard, Eades coached 11 seasons and posted a 237-62-6 record. His Warriors won three Class 1A state titles and were Section 8A champions seven times. He was a three-time Section 8 coach of the year and was named the 1996 High School Coach of the Year.
The second period features a talk with Benilde-St. Margaret's head coach Ken Pauly. He and host Pete Waggoner discussed the Red Knights' upcoming season and handicapped the Section 6AA race. The duo also looked into the other top teams throughout the state in a special pre-season discussion.
