Cooper is coming off losses to St. Francis & Waconia going into their week & a half break before travelling to Silver Bay to face Ely, Moose Lake & Silver Bay at the end of the year. The young squad has been struggling, but they have been working hard playing a physical brand of hockey that has left some bumps & bruises that the players will be happy to have a chance to heal before they hit the stretch.

Dustin Schultz, Alex Stager, Sam Morgen, Joe Lavalier, Hayden Gautsche & Tom Monteiro have scored for Cooper in the last two games. While the Hawks have been able to get some pucks in the net, they've taken quite a few goals against.  Defensive play as well as goaltending will have to improve for this team to play more competitively.
