Hayden Gautsche scored a short-handed, overtime game winning goal on a break-away play that saw him tame a rolling puck, crash the net and dangle a back-hand shot past Moose Lake's goalie. The Hawks played an impressive game & had the lead virtually the whole game. But a series of interesting events sometimes challenging the conventional rules of the game saddled the Hawks with misfortune that lead Moose Lake to tie the game in the final minute of regulation. Cooper played short-handed most of the end of the third & into OT. They had to rally extra effort to persevere. The Hawks face home town favorite Silver Bay for bragging rights tomorrow night.
