Benilde-St. Margaret’s junior forward Dan Labosky has accepted a scholarship offer form Colorado College, according to Red Knights coach Ken Pauly.
Labosky, a 5-foot-7, 150-pound left wing, verbally committed to play for the Tigers just after Christmas.
He has nine goals and nine assists this season, including a goal in the No. 8-ranked Red Knights’ 5-3 loss to Maple Grove on Friday, Dec. 30, in the championship game of the Sports Authority Holiday Classic at the St. Louis Park Rec Center.
Minnetonka senior defenseman Joe Schuldt also made a Division I college commitment over the holiday break, choosing Michigan Tech.
A hard-hitting defenseman who, like Labosky, played in the Upper Midwest High School Elite Hockey League this fall, the 6-foot-1½, 195-pound Schuldt has one goal and three assists and a plus-19 plus/minus rating for the No. 2 ranked Skippers.
