Former Minnesota-Duluth star Kyle Schmidt of Hermantown is in German league

Hermantown's Kyle Schmidt, who scored in overtime to lift Minnesota-Duluth past Michigan for the NCAA Division I championship last April, is playing for EV Regensburg in Germany's third-tier league.
