The second day of the new rule changes to the three penalties that were identified by the Minnesota State High School League was completed and a pair of games delivered plenty of goals.
The Duluth East Greyhounds worked their power play to near perfection as they were 3-4. It was enough to defeat the Apple Valley Eagles by a score of 6-4. Head coach Mike Randolph joins the show to discuss his team's effort as they look forward to hockey day Minnesota. He also discussed the rule changes, the impact it can have on a team and the game and how is team is preparing for its second game of the season against the Minneonka Skippers.
Tim Kolehmainen reported on the Morris/Benson Storm's victory over the Breckenridge/Whahpeton Blades as both teams make their debut on the Overtime radio show. Both coaches share their post game thoughts as Morris/Benson picked up the 8-3 win. We will hear from the Storm's Jim Kennedy and Tanner Picht.
