Duluth East's Toninato picks UMD

Greyhounds' senior center commits to play for Bulldogs

Duluth East senior Dom Toninato, a center who has 19 goals and 47 points in 18 games this season, has commited to play at Minnesota-Duluth.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound Toninato is the second-leading scorer for No. 2-ranked Duluth East behind linemate Jake Randolph, who on Monday commited to play at Nebraska-Omaha.

Toninato's father, Jim, played for the Bulldogs from 1982-86.
