In a stunning first round upset, the seventh-seeded Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons knocked the defending state champion and No. 2 seed Eden Prairie Eagles from the playoffs with a 2-1 win at the Eden Prairie Community Center.  Falcons' goaltender Michael Greenberg was sizzling in goal as he turned aside 49 of 50 Eagles' shots and was pitching a shutout until the third period.

Head coach Todd Weisjahn joined us in the first period to discuss the victory and look ahead to their semifinal round game with the Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights at 7:30 p.m. Saturday evening at the Bloomington Ice Garden.

The second period takes a look at Bloomington Jefferson's sound 6-1 win over the Chanhassen Storm in a Section 2AA quarterfinal game.  The Jags' Colin Hernon posted a hat trick and joins the show with his post-game remarks, along with head coach Jeff Lindquist.  The Storm's Chris Wilson also shares his post-game thoughts on what was a terrific second season for the Storm.  Jefferson now prepares for a semifinal game with the Edina Hornets at Braemar Arena at noon Saturday.

Finally, Breakdown Sports USA's Tim Kolehmainen joined the fray in the third period to take a look at the rest of the section quarterfinal games as they unfolded around the state.

A new Overtime Radio Show posts every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at noon.
