Tony Sarsland, Elk River's coach for 27 seasons, talks about the events that led to his suspension as a teacher and resignation as the Elks' coach on Feb. 9.

Sarsland rescinded his resignation three days later but said after waiting eight weeks to hear the results of a school investigation into his coaching he again decided to resign.
