1. Determine the issue and address it with your child first. Then decide if it's worth pursuing.
2. When ready to approach the coach, don't attack the individual during or immediately after a game or practice. Either approach after an event or call to set up a meeting.
3. Bring your child with you to the meeting. This will help clear up any potential communication problems.
4. Adhere to the coach's team policies. The more respect you show, the more respect the coach will give you when addressing a concern.
