Zamboni was under water according to Rebels coach Josh Gamst

Flooding from a massive storm in the Duluth area in late June hit Moose Lake particularly hard, and the town's hockey arena had water 4 feet up its boards according to Rebels coach Josh Gamst.

Riverside Arena's Zamboni also was underwater, and Gamst said the concession stand, locker rooms and bathrooms will need to be redone according to a Pine Journal article.

Gamst said he's hoping the arena will be repaired in time for hockey season in the fall.

Moose Lake returns one of the state's most dynamic scorers in Tyler Cisar. He scored 43 goals and added 44 assists last season and is the state's second-leading returning scorer behind Benilde-St. Margaret's Grant Besse (52 goals, 41 assists).
