2012 season schedule released

Elite League season begins with training camp Aug. 31 through Sept. 2 in Blaine

The regular season for the Upper Midwest High School Elite Hockey League will begin with six games Sept. 8 at Fogerty Arena in Blaine.

The full seven-week regular season schedule can be found here.

League play will take place at a numerous venues throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin, including the Schwan Super Rink in Blaine, Ice Hawks Arena in Stevens Point, Wis., the IRC Civic Center in Grand Rapids as well as New Hope Ice Arena in New Hope.

Rosters for five Minnesota teams and Team Great Plains were released Thursday, July 19. Wisconsin and Shattuck-St. Mary's will again field teams this season as well as one team that has yet to be named.

Elite League activities begin with training camp Aug. 31 through Sept. 2 in Blaine.
