High School Hockey Coverage taken to a new level with partnerships

The 2008-2009 Boys High School Hockey season is upon us and this season promises to be as memorable as any season in recent history.  There are a number of teams that will be jockeying for position and the right to win the coveted Class AA and Class A State Titles.
The Minnesota High School hockey fan is loyal and will find ways to gather information on their favorite team.  When it comes to High School hockey, there is no shortage in the desire to support our local teams as the players give it their all to the game they love.  In an effort to provide as much information, statistical data, and play-by-play, a unique partnership was struck by the Boys High School Hockey Coaches Association, FoxPreps, Poinstreak, and Team Sport Tech (TST).
The Coaches Association has partnered with several key players in the high school hockey world to bring their game to the entire world in as effective way as possible.  After a successful first season streaming High School hockey games on MyFoxHockey.com, FoxPreps expanded in other areas of High School Sport and activities.   Led by the Executive Committee, The Coaches Association approached the Fox9 web group about reaching a partnership to webcast and share information with other partners in the association's stable.
The coaches already worked with PointStreak, a highly regarded statistical organization that works with some of the largest hockey organizations in the world including the IHL, CHL, USHL, and NAHL.  They specialize in delivering up to the minute scoring and statistics of hockey games.  For the first time ever, the Minnesota High School standings and statistics will cover the entire State of Minnesota and will be available, up to date,  by the click of the mouse.
An aggressive web-cast schedule has been released by MyFoxHockey.com that will feature top teams from throughout the State.  Every Thursday night a "game of the week" will air via the Internet with video and the popular chat feature available.  Pete Waggoner and Bart Archer will be back to call the play-by-play.  MyFoxHockey.com also offers a flex schedule that will be utilized as the season progresses to showcase teams that are on the move.
The popular Minnesota Hockey on Demand show will air every Monday night from the Fox 9 studios as co-hosts Pete Waggoner and Jim Rich recap the week that was and the week that is.  Joining them will be players, coaches, scouts, and hockey personalities from around Minnesota.  They will release their weekly top 10 and air hilites from the week before.
Team Sport Technologies, the nation's leader in league and team website solutions, agreed to design and create the official news and information portal of the high school league on a new website called mnhockeyhub.com.  This website is now the new online home of High School Hockey in the state of Minnesota. Writers, television personalities and radio hosts from thestitch.us have come on board to provide original content for the site. Feature stories and news related content on your favorite team can be found on the site as it interlinks with MyFoxHockey.com.
The opening game will feature the Benilde St. Margaret's Red Knights and the Burnsville Blaze Tuesday December 2nd from the St. Louis Park Rec Center.  Be sure to log on and check out all the new information that will be made available at no cost to the viewer.
