Rogers adds another conference win to their record and are now 8-0-0 in conference and 15-4-1 overall. The game against St. Francis ended with a score of 5-3.
The 1st goal was scored by Jacob Walker in the 1st period, but St. Francis quickly answered back and it was 1-1 at the end of the 1st period. The 2nd period started out with St. Francis getting the 1st goal, however, Branden Cecil, found the net twice in the 2nd period for the 2nd and 3rd goals for Rogers, to end the 2nd period at 3-2. Jason Roberge and Dustin Schoepke both got goals for Rogers in the 3rd period while St. Francis put one in the net for a final score of 5-3.
Assists that night went to Jason Roberge, Alex Lorman, Spencer Marchand, Jacob Walker, and Matt Hellickson. John Stanley had two assists.
Rogers was 3 for 4 on the power plays and outshot St. Francis 36-19.
Rogers will play Osseo this Wednesday night.
