On a team that will graduate 11 seniors, the Buffalo boys’ hockey team is not lacking experience.
Senior captains Wilson Anderle, Justin Laven, and assistant captain Loren Lindvall are the back bone to a Bison squad that is looking to make noise the post-season.
With plenty of upperclassmen providing the intangibles it takes to be a winning hockey team, evidenced by their 14-7-1 overall mark, it’s a trio of juniors that are stealing the show.
Junior forwards Jake Ramsey, Gunnar Goodmanson, and Jerame Schuetzle have provided the vast majority of offense – 48 of the team’s 96 total goals on the season. Goodmanson currently ranks tops in the conference in both goals (23) and points (43). Ramsey has 13 goals, 22 assists and ranks fifth in the conference in points with 35. Schuetzle’s three goals in a 13-0 blowout last Saturday, Feb. 1 against North Branch brings his total to 12 and he’s contributed 17 assists.
