Blaine's Nick Bjugstad, the Hockey Hub's state Player of the Year, is ranked No. 13 on the NHL Central Scouting Service's list of North American skaters.

Bjugstad, who was named Minnesota's Mr. Hockey, is the highest ranked high school player in the state, finishing ahead of Warroad's Brock Nelson, who came in at No. 25 on the list.

Cretin-Derham Hall defenseman Mark Alt (No. 37) and two Minnetonka players, defenseman Justin Holl (No. 47) and forward Max Gardiner (No. 36) round out the top five state players on the list.
