Chicago impressed with former Eden Prairie star's play in prospects camp

In a story chock full of news about former Minnesota Mr. Hockey winners, The Daily Herald in Chicago is reporting that former Eden Prairie standout defenseman Nick Leddy, who completed his freshman season at the University of Minnesota this spring, might receive a contract offer from the Blackhawks after an impressive showing at the club's prospects camp. Leddy was named Mr. Hockey in 2009.

The article begins with news that Jeff Taffe, the former Hastings standout who was named Mr. Hockey in 1999, was traded to Chicago by the Florida Panthers in exchange for Marty Reasoner.
