1. Eden Prairie

Eagles led by state’s top duo in Michael Graham and Casey Mittelstadt.

2. Edina

Move to tougher Section 6 won’t keep Hornets from 10th consecutive state tournament.

3. Lakeville North

Spoiler alert: Panthers won’t go 31-0 again. Still a state-tournament team.

4. Blaine

Strong goaltending tandem backs forward Riley Tufte, a sure-fire Mr. Hockey candidate.

5. Hill-Murray

Brimming with experience throughout the lineup.

6. Benilde-St. Margaret’s

The Red Knights start with goaltending and defense for a change.

7. Stillwater

Consecutive section final trips and a successful junior class equals high hopes.

8. St. Thomas Academy

Cadets could start slow but will be tough when it matters.

9. Wayzata

Won its Turkey Trot tournament with victory against Edina.

10. Breck (1A)

All the elements for a long and fruitful playoff run.
