NAHL Showcase loaded with Minnesotans

More than 100 former state high school players to compete in event

The eighth annual North American Hockey League Showcase tournament, scheduled for Setp. 15-18 at the Schwan Super Rink in Blaine, will include 118 Minnesota natives representing 62 communities from around the state.

Among the former state standouts participating in the event are goaltenders Jacob Mers (Benilde-St. Margaret's), Alex Fons (Hopkins) and Jim Kruger (Minnetonka), all of whom play for Alexandria.
