HOLY ANGELS 4, TOTINO-GRACE 1: It was a long time coming -- more than a month, in fact -- but Holy Angels finally tasted victory again. The Stars snapped a 10-game losing streak by upsetting the Eagles. Their last win came on Dec. 8. Spencer Sande scored three goals and added an assist for the Stars. Sean Daley stopped 39 shots for the Stars.
EDEN PRAIRIE 2, ST. THOMAS ACADEMY 2 (OT): Atticus Kelly stopped 35 shots, including six in overtime, to help the Cadets escape with a tie against the Eagles. Chase Foley scored on the power play for the Cadets just past the midway mark of the third period to tie the score. Brendan McFadden got the scoring started for the Cadets. Casey Mittelstadt and Jarod Blackowiak scored for the Eagles. The Eagles outshot the Cadets 15-4 in the third period and overtime. Shawn Durocher stopped 21 shots for the Eagles.
BENILDE-ST. MARGARET’S 2, FARMINGTON 1 (OT): Perhaps a bit rusty after a 10-day layoff, the No.1, 2A Red Knights found a way to remain undefeated (16-0-1) when Cade Gleekel scored with 23.2 seconds remaining in overtime. Peter Heimbold sent the game to overtime when he scored for Benilde-St. Margaret's with 3:22 left in the third period. Ryan Bischel stopped 22 shots for the Knights. Andy Meyer scored a goal and Gavin Enright stopped 30 shots for the Tigers.
ARMSTRONG/COOPER 4, ST. FRANCIS 3 (OT): Erik Evans scored 6 minutes, 59 seconds into overtime to lift the Wings past the Fighting Saints. Mitchell Verbeten scored with 50 seconds remaining in the third period for the Wings. Nicholas Gonrowski scored two goals for the Wings. Alex Besch scored three goals to lead the Saints.
PARK OF COTTAGE GROVE 4, TARTAN 3: Bryce Solberg and Nick Lucas had a goal and two assists each to lead the Wolfpack over the Titans. Gavin Foote and Jack Valento also scored for the Wolfpack.
