BEMIDJI—Rocky Copiskey scored two of Bemidji's three third-period goals to help the Lumberjacks (17-2-2) to a 5-2 win over St. Michael-Albertville on Saturday at the Bemidji Community Arena.

Bemidji's Cole Hartje opened the game's scoring less than four minutes into the game and, by the end of the first period, Tyler McNamara extended the lead to 2-0. Copiskey was credited with an assist on Hartje's goal, while Hunter Olson and Nick Leitner grabbed helpers on McNamara's.

The Knights (13-6-2) took their turn in the middle period, as goals from Tucker Bjorlin and Ryan Copeland evened the score at two apiece.

In a game with 13 total minor penalties called (including four pairs of coincidentals), Bjorlin was able to capitalize on the power play.

Knotted up at 2-2 going into the third period, the Jacks turned on the jets with three goals, starting with Copiskey's first at the 5:44 mark.

Between the Copiskey goals, Matthew Gregg scored to regain the two-goal lead with 9:12 to play.

Copiskey finished the game off with the Jacks' fifth goal with 52 seconds left.

Bemidji is back in action Tuesday when the Lumberjacks travel to Brainerd.
