Norkosky's two-goal effort leads BSM win.

CHASKA, Minn. --  Benilde-St. Margaret's did not allow a shot on goal over the final two periods and cruised to an 8-0 junior varsity win over Chaska.

Despite a 15-2 advantage in shots in the first period, the Red Knights struggled to get rolling but managed to get on the scoreboard when Luke Coughlin's goal with one minute, 47 seconds to play in the frame gave them the lead.

After needing more than 13 minutes to get its first goal, BSM need just 71 seconds to get their second as James Norkosky made it a 2-0 game entering the first intermission.

The Red Knights would not even allow a shot attempt by the Hawks in the second period, outshooting their hosts 18-0, with 27 total attempts in a five-goal stanza.

Joe Collins started the outburst when he found the the back of the net with a snap shot from the slot at 4:30, and the visitors would score two more times in rapid succession.

Michael McNeil scored 55 seconds later and it would take just another 55 seconds for Norkosky to score his second goal of the game.

Chaska would make a goaltending change at that point but, just over five minutes later, Alex Webert's third goal of the season made it 6-0 and Caelan Woog followed with his fourth point of the game, scoring with 2:37 to play in the period.

BSM still managed 16 shots on goal in the final period, despite playing the final 15 minutes in running time.

The Red Knights' final goal came with 5:30 to play in the game when Jake Leonard scored his fifth goal of the season.

Up next for BSM is another trip to the Southwest Metro, Saturday, when the Red Knights travel to Ede Prairie for a 5 p.m. game with the Eagles.
