Quick overtime goal lifts Woodbury past Hastings

SOUTH ST. PAUL PREMIER • QUARTERFINALS

WOODBURY 3, HASTINGS 2 (OT): Evan Erickson scored just 25 seconds into overtime to give Woodbury an improbable 3-2 victory. The Royals won despite being outshot by the Raiders 50-28. Woodbury goalie Zach Moore was nearly unbeatable between the pipes, making 48 saves, including stopping all 23 shots he faced in the second period.

EAGAN 7, NORTH ST. PAUL 0: The Wildcats had no trouble taking command early. Will Merchant got the offense started with a power-play goal in the first period; he also added another man-advantage tally in the third. Eagan goalie Alex Cimochowski earned the shutout.
