Eagles soar, lifted by goaltender Blake Burgau's performance

Senior goaltender Blake Burgau made 26 saves and recorded the shut out in New Ulm's 2-0 victory over Eau Claire Memorial in the Class A championship game of the Kiwanis/Think Bank Festival.

The Eagles stopped Eau Claire Memorial's undefeated streak, handing the Wisconsin top-ranked Old Abes their first loss of the season.
