Lakeville North 7, Apple Valley 0. Junior Blake Brandt recorded three goals and an assist for No.7-2A Lakeville North, extending his point streak to five straight games. Lakeville North’s leading goal-scorer Tommy Klans scored twice and had an assist to contribute to the win, and goaltender Buzz Eigner earned the shutout with 11 saves. Apple Valley goaltender Lucky Bolden stopped 23.

Eagan 4, Shakopee 1. Four goals in the second period seals the victory for Eagan, as sophomore Drew Wilson scored twice. Goaltender Brandon Toussaint saved 16. Shakopee’s leading scorer Evan Holm tallied the lone goal and goaltender Adam Bleess saved 38.

Woodbury 4, Forest Lake 0. Woodbury’s Lucas Erickson had a goal and two assists in the win, and leading goal-scorer Ben Wahlin scored in his fifth straight game. Goaltender John Conlee earned the shutout with 20 saves. Forest Lake goaltender Danny Fiedler stopped 27.

Hill-Murray 2, St. Thomas Academy 1. No.9-2A Hill-Murray edges out No.5-2A St. Thomas Academy with two third period goals. Kyler Yeo and Brock Bremer score for Hill-Murray and goaltender Jake Begley stopped 26 of 27. St. Thomas Academy’s Willie Reim scored the lone goal, and goaltender Atticus Kelly stopped 17 of 19.

St. Paul Johnson 2, North St. Paul 1. It was a night for the netminders, as Johnson Senior Ezra Weintzweig stopped 13 of 14 shots (.929) and Polars junior Ben Herman stopped 27 of 29 shots (.931). The Polars and Governors went back to back in the first period and the Govenors took the second, but strong defense and goaltending helped capture the win in the third period.

Chisago Lakes 3, North Branch 2. Two players for Chisago had multi point games, senior Nickolas Pautz with two assists and senior Cooper Hoheisal. Stellar performances from both goalies was another story line as Wildcats sophomore Brooks Stangl stopped 24 of 26 shots, while Vikings junior Trevor Mellen stopped 33 of 36 shots.

White Bear Lake 3, Edina 3. This was a hard fought game between two teams with rich history. The Hornets and the Bears go back and forth with White Bear taking the first period and Edina taking the third, but remain scoreless in overtime. White Bear junior Max Jennrich was able to notch two goals but not enough to get the win in regulation.

Blake 4, Bloomington Kennedy 3. 14 players racked up points in this game with two players having a multi point game for Blake. Leading scorer for the Bears junior Sasha Shogren recorded two assists and leading scorer for the Eagles Sophomore Joseph Dosan scored. Blake junior John Broucek stopped 18 of 21 shots, while Kennedy senior Devin Dietz 34 of 38 shots.
