Landon Karst, Shakopee. Karst scored twice – the second was a shorthanded goal that held up as the game-winner – in Shakopee’s 3-2 win over Hastings.
Lewis Crosby, Edina. The junior scored a first-period hat trick and added an assist in No. 4-2A Edina’s 5-4 win over Burnsville. All of Crosby’s goals came within a span of 6 minutes, 37 seconds.
Luke Posner, Mahtomedi. The senior scored three goals and added one assist in No. 8-1A Mahtomedi’s 7-5 win over Totino-Grace.
Blake Brandt, Lakeville North. The junior helped No. 7-2A Lakeville North to a 7-0 win over Apple Valley, scoring three goals and adding one assist.
Justin Kelley, Maple Grove. The senior recorded a hat trick in Maple Grove’s 5-3 win over No. 6-2A Centennial.
Brandon Mehlhop, New Ulm. Mehlhop scored three times, including a shorthanded goal and the eventual game-winner, in New Ulm’s 4-1 win over Luverne.
Sam Fritz, Spring Lake Park. The sophomore tallied four goals to lift Spring Lake Park over Osseo 5-1.
Noah Bawek, Austin. The junior goaltender recorded 24 saves in backing Austin to a 1-0 overtime victory against Mankato West.
Cody Kolb, St. Francis. The sophomore defenseman scored two goals, including the game-winner with 13 seconds left in the third period, in St. Francis’ win over Anoka 3-2.
Max Eilefson, Irondale. The junior goaltender stopped all 27 shots he faced in a 1-0 win over Osseo.
