Christian USA acquired by Torspo Hockey Int'l

Dave Soderquist, Torspo CEO, welcomes addition of 'Iconic American brand'

Torpso Hockey International, Inc. announced the acquisition of Christian USA in a press release on Wednesday, Jan. 12.

Christian USA, based in Roseau, was founded by brothers Roger and Bill Christian in 1964 with aspirations to provide "hockey sticks made by hockey players."

The Christian brothers skated on the 1960 U.S. Olympic gold medal team. Dave Christian, Bill's son, was a member of the 1980 U.S. Olympic 'Miracle on Ice' team.

Torspo is headquartered in Anoka and has offices in Germany and Russia (Spring 2011).
