Benilde St. Margarets 3, Wayzata 2. Team play and solid goaltending help the Red Knights push over the Trojans. Benilde was able to hold leading scorer for Wayzata junior Griffin Ness to just an assist, while Red Knights leading scorer, senior Nick Simms, was able to post two points. Benilde netminder, senior Zach Everett, had a heck of night stopping 33 of 35 shots (.943).

Burnsville 3, Shakopee 2 OT. Shakopee goaltender Adam senior Bleess did his absolute best to contain the blaze and was able to stop 62 of 65 shots (.954) before the fateful goal in overtime. Burnsville’s leading scorer, senior Roman Ahcan, was able to tally two assists, while leading goal scorer, senior Daniel Sandvig, set the net ablaze twice including the overtime goal.

No. 5, 2A Lakeville North 3, Prior Lake 2. The Panthers and Lakers go scoreless through the first two periods, but it’s Prior Lake that open the scoring in the beginning of the third, but Lakeville answered late in the third. Lakers leading scorer, senior Kevin Fellows, tallied a goal, While Lakeville leading scorer, senior Blake Brandt tallied a goal and had an assist on the game-winner in overtime, which was scored by Keaton Pehrson.

No. 6, 2A Eden Prairie 4, No. 2, 2A Edina 2. The Eagles use their surplus of depth to help them get the win over their Lake Conference rival. Leading scorer and Minnesota commit for Eden Prairie, senior Casey Mittelstadt, posted two helpers. The Eagles to hold off leading scorer for Edina, junior Lewis Crosby, to just one assist. Eden Prairie netminder senior Nick Wiencek stopped 33 of 36 shots (.917).
