Player of the Week revealed

This week's winner

Nathan Mueller, Buffalo. Mueller made 28 saves in a 3-0 win over North Branch. The shutout was the sophomore’s fourth of the season.

The other candidates

Brennan Boynton, Champlin Park. The sophomore goaltender made 38 saves in a 3-1 win over Osseo – a .974 save percentage.

Troy Dahlheimer, Monticello/Annandale/Maple Lake. The sophomore forward recorded a hat trick in a 5-2 win over St. Francis and now has 11 goals on the season.

Bradley Koskie, Providence Academy. The sophomore goaltender stopped 48 shots in a 5-2 win over Blake.

Cade Moreland, Virginia/Mountain Iron-Buhl. In a 5-4 win over North Shore, Moreland scored three goals. The sophomore forward leads his team in goals (8), assists (9) and points (17).

Connor Nelsen, Redwood Valley. Nelson scored three goals and added an assist in a 4-1 win over Willmar. The senior forward is second on his team in both goals (16) and points (24).

Atticus Raasch, St. Louis Park. The junior goaltender was nearly perfect in his team’s 2-1 victory over Bloomington Jefferson, stopping 40 of 41 shots.

Joe Sutton, Mounds View. Sutton had a hand in each of the last three Mounds View goals in a 6-5 comeback win over Park of Cottage Grove. The junior forward scored the game-tying goal late in the third period and, with just seven seconds left, assisted on the game-winner.

Zach Swisher, Chanhassen. The junior goaltender recorded his first shutout of the season, stopping 29 shots in a 3-0 win over St. Louis Park.

Preston Warren, Wadena-Deer Creek. The junior forward exploded for five goals in a 7-6 win over Breckenridge/Wahpeton. Warren is tied for the team lead in assists with 17.
