St. Paul Johnson 3, Minnehaha Academy 2, OT. Luke Heffernan scored the overtime game-winning goal 5:09 into the extra frame to lead No. 14-1A St. Paul Johnson past No. 12-1A Minnehaha Academy. Heffernan’s goal came just 13 seconds into the power play. St. Paul Johnson’s Ezra Weintzweig made 20 saves for the win, while Justin Evenson of Minnehaha Academy stopped 42 of 45 shots he faced.

St. Louis Park 4, Robbinsdale Armstrong/Cooper 2. Bauer Neudecker had a hand in each of St. Louis Park’s goals, scoring a late goal in both the second and third periods and assisting on two power play goals. Neudecker is the state’s leading scorer with 32 goals and is tied for third with 53 points. Atticus Raasch stopped 26 shots for St. Louis Park, while Robbinsdale Armstrong/Cooper’s Ethan Marsh had 41 saves.

Cretin-Derham Hall 3, White Bear Lake 2. Joseph Gimberlin scored a pair of goals to lead Cretin-Derham Hall to the win. Matt Gleason got the offense started in the game, scoring less than four minutes into the first period, and picked up an assist on Gimberlin’s first goal. Mike Magnuson recorded 21 saves in the win. Bob Parenteau of White Bear Lake made 22 saves.

Cloquet-Esko-Carlton 7, Forest Lake 6. Dylan Johnson recorded a hat trick, including the eventual game-winning goal, to lead Cloquet-Esko-Carlton past Forest Lake. Two of Johnson’s goals came on the power play. Dylan Langenbrunner and Eric Newman combined for 16 saves in the win, while Brady Peterson of Forest Lake stopped 32 shots.

Chaska 3, East Ridge 1. Shane Lavelle scored two third-period goals to lead Chaska past East Ridge. Lavelle netted both goals within 2:20 of each other. Chaska’s Ben Urbanciz stopped 20 shots, while Nick Stearns of East Ridge had 20 saves.

Hill-Murray 4, Elk River 2. Kyler Yeo and Brock Bremer each recorded a goal and an assist in No. 4-2A Hill-Murray’s win over No. 3-2A Elk River. Hill-Murray’s Begley stopped 25 shots, while Elk River’s Benny Meyers had 17 saves.

Duluth East 5, Prior Lake 3. Luke LaMaster tallied two goals and two assists in the win for No. 12-2A Duluth East. Hunter Paine notched three assists, and Kirk Meierhoff had 18 saves. Prior Lake’s Danny Long stopped 35 of 39 shots.

Bloomington Jefferson 5, Benilde-St. Margaret’s 2. Four Bloomington Jefferson players had multiple-point games, leading the Jaguars to the win. Hunter Jacobs scored the eventual game-winning goal and recorded an assist on an earlier goal. Evan Redepenning had 26 saves for the Jaguars, while Zach Everett stopped 15 for the Red Knights.

Mound Westonka 6, Waconia 3. Senior Blake Hildahl scored two goals and added two assists in Mound Westonka’s win. Junior Torsten Lee added two goals and an assist for the White Hawks. Noah Coley made 16 saves in the win, while Waconia’s Trevor Rowe had 45 saves.

Chanhassen 6, Bloomington Kennedy 1. Patrick Newell and Tommy Heiland each registered three points to lead Chanhassen past Bloomington Kennedy. Josh Weyandt stopped 19 shots in the win. Bloomington Kennedy’s Devin Dietz stopped 45 of 51 shots he faced.

Edina 7, Centennial 3. Four players each recorded three points in No. 2-2A Edina’s win over No. 8-2A Centennial. Ben Brinkman scored the eventual game-winner and also assists on Edina’s final goal. Edina’s Garrett Mackay and Centennial’s Bryce Crowley each had 26 saves.

Holy Family Catholic 6, Orono 3. Eight Holy Family players made it onto the score sheet in the win against Orono, with six of those players picking up two points. Patrick Reddan scored the eventual game-winner for the Fire. Holy Family’s Jared Moe stopped eight shots, while Evan Babekuhl of Orono made 40 saves.
