Jordan senior forward Jimmy Vollbrecht was named the Minnesota River Conference boys’ basketball most valuable player.

The 6-8 Vollbrecht finished as the second-leading scorer in school history with 1,458 career points. He averaged 24 points, nine rebounds and two blocked shots per game in conference play during his final season. He scored a season-high 38 points in a 76-75 setback at Mayer Lutheran.
