Several overtime games including St. Thomas Academy-Rochester Lourdes thriller

ST. THOMAS ACADEMY 6, ROCHESTER LOURDES 5 (OT): A.J. Reid scored on a rebound one minute, eight seconds into overtime, capping the Class 1A, No. 1 Cadets' comeback victory over the Eagles. Teammate Peter Krieger scored the tying goal with six minutes, five seconds left. Reid pulled the Cadets within 5-4, scoring with one second remaining in the second period.

BLOOMINGTON JEFFERSON 4, MINNETONKA 2: Nick Nielsen and Jake Pollock each had a goal and an assist as the Jaguars beat the Class 2, No. 4 Skippers in a nonconference matchup. Minnetonka was limited to 17 shots on goal.

SPRING LAKE PARK 2, BENILDE-ST. MARGARET’S 1: Nick Turbitt scored a power-play goal off a rebound with two seconds remaining as the Panthers upset the Class 2A, No. 3 Red Knights in North Suburban play. Brandon Jones made 45 saves for the Panthers, who became just the second team to beat Benilde-St. Margaret’s in the North Suburban over the past seven seasons. The only other team to defeat the Red Knights during that span is Totino-Grace.

FARMINGTON 5, CHASKA 4 (OT): Dan Handberg snapped off a shot from the slot through the goaltender’s five hole, giving the Tigers a victory over the Hawks in the Missota. Chaska’s Mitch Kirchoff scored with four seconds left in regulation, tying it at four. Jack Storo scored the Hawks’ other three goals.

ST. PAUL JOHNSON 4, ST. PAUL ACADEMY 3 (OT): Junior defenseman Brandon Busse scored on a shot from the point in overtime, lifting the Governors over the Spartans. Karl Hommeyer knocked in a bouncing puck in front of the net with 2:28 remaining for St. Paul Academy to tie it at three.
