During the 2010-2011 season, Moorhead had its wins and losses, controversies, upset victories and disappointing defeats as well as being the host city of the fifth annual Hockey Day Minnesota.
Nothing entirley new to Dave Morinville, who has been the head coach of the Spuds for 14 seasons.
However, it was Moorhead's shocking defeat in the consolation semifinals that had Morinville scratching his head.
Depsite outshooting Lakeville North 38-8, the Spuds fell to the Panthers 2-1 at Mariucci Arena on Friday, March 11.
