Wayzata pulls away from BSM JV

Trojans score seven in final two periods.

PLYMOUTH, Minn. -- After a scoreless opening period, Wayzata scored three times in the second period, added four more in the final period and finished with a 7-0 win over Benilde-St. Margaret's.

Jack Olson stopped 11 of the 13 shots he faced in the game's first 23 minutes, 47 seconds, before giving way to Jonathan Vitelli in a planned goaltending change.

The Trojans held a 27-8 advantage in shots on goal in the victory.

BSM is now off for eights days until opening Metro West Conference play next Friday, Nov. 22, by hosting St. Louis Park in a 5 p.m. game.
