Eden Prairie 4, Duluth East 3. There'll be no unbeaten seasons in boys' hockey after Class 2A, No. 14 Eden Prairie upset No. 1-2A Duluth East and dealt the Greyhounds their first loss of the season. Jack Jensen and Joey Graen scored in the third period to spur the Eagles comeback victory with the help of Andrew Dietrich's 43 saves.  Jack FitzGerald's second-period goal gave the Greyhounds the lead heading into the third.

Tartan 6, Hastings 5 (OT).  Tartan senior Justin Thompson scored his third goal of the game 1 minute, 10 seconds left in overtime to help the Titans move into a first-place tie in the Metro East standings with Mahtomedi. Sophomore Brock Bertelsen played a hand in Tartan's final five goals, scoring one and tallying four assists. Hastings forward Leo Otto scored twice, while Jonathon Peine compiled four assists.

Champlin Park 3, Duluth Marshall 1.  George Grannis scored the game's opening goal for Duluth Marshall, ranked No. 8 in Class 2A, but Champlin Park goalie Brennan Boynton was unfazed and held the Hilltoppers scoreless the rest of the game for a 38-save performance. Drew Amsler,  Jeff Rylance and Rylen Anderson scored successively for the Rebels, while Will Ellingson assisted his team's final two goals in the upset victory. 

Princeton 1, Eveleth-Gilbert 1 (OT). Princeton goaltender Ryce Thiel turned aside 53 shots to help the Tigers keep pace with Eveleth-Gilbert, which outshot Princeton 14-2 in overtime. Nick Beaudette netted the Golden Bears goal, while Tigers forward Cade Wyluda scored the tying goal, his first goal of the season, five minutes into the third period. 

Northern Lakes 5, Sauk Rapids-Rice 4 (OT). Trailing 4-1 entering the third period, Northern Lakes scored four unanswered goals to clinch its fourth win of the season. Maverick Engstrom assisted Shane Donovan's power play goal with 32 seconds left in regulation and scored an unassisted goal to clinch the game for Lightning. Storm forward Daymin Dodge found the net twice and added an assist.
