Limesand stops 20 shots in 6-0 victory.

HOPKINS, Minn. -- Benilde-St. Margaret's got goals from six different players and Carson Limesand stopped all 20 shots he faced as the Red Knights defeated Hopkins, 6-0.

BSM scored twice in each period, finishing with a pair of third-period power-play goals, to slowly pull away from the Royals.

The Red Knights got off to a fast start when Jerome Newhouse tipped in a Joe Collins pass just 59 seconds into the contest and, 45 seconds later, Jonah Mortenson slipped a shot through Hopkins goalie Bobby Wilson for a 2-0 lead.

The score remained that way until three minutes, 57 seconds had elapsed in the second period. Jett Johnson took a cross-ice pass from Charlie Bischel in his own zone. He raced up the left-wing boards, went behind the Hopkins goal and came out the right side, where he used a Royal defenseman as a screen and scored his third goal of the season.

After Clark picked up assists on the second and third goals, with 20.3 seconds remaining in the second period, he buried a rebound off a Mortenson shot to give his team a 4-0 leading into the second intermission.

Collins scored the first of BSM's two third-period power-play goals when he took a pass through the slot from Dylan Hoen and buried his team-leading 10th goal of the season from the bottom of the left circle.

Nate Clark factored in the scoring of BSM's second, third and fourth goals.

The Red Knights' final goal came with 36.5 seconds when James Norkosky scored from the same spot as Collins, burying a James Callahan rebound with 36.5 seconds to play in the game.

Clark was one of five Red Knights with multiple points in the game. Collins and Mortenson talled a goal and an assist while Bischel and Nate Schweitzer both had two assists.

BSM is now idle until next Saturday, when they return home for a 2:30 p.m. matinee versus Rochester Lourdes at the St. Louis Park Recreation Center.
