MN Hockey Hub fans: Vote now for the top performer from Feb. 5-10

We select the athletes with some of last week's most outstanding stat lines. You decide the player with the best outing.

Players are considered for the Top Performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Hockey Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their coaching staff would like to be set up to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top Performer candidates

Brett Attenberger, Waseca. The senior forward had a hand in the first five Bluejay goals, including four on special teams, in a 7-4 win over Windom. Attenberger had one shorthanded goal and scored twice on the power play. He also had a power-play assist.

Hunter Fletcher, Prairie Centre. The junior forward recorded his third four-point game of the season in the North Stars' 8-1 victory over Morris/Benson Area. Fletcher netted two goals and assisted on a third within a 25-second span midway through the first period, and he completed his hat trick midway through the second.

Aubrey Hartfiel, Becker/Big Lake. The senior forward set a new season-high points total (8) with two goals and six assists in a 13-3 win over Bagley/Fosston. His previous record was seven points.

Cody Kolb, St. Francis. In a 4-3 in over Rogers, the junior defenseman opened the scoring with a power-play goal midway through the first period and added an assist on the man-advantage in the second. With the Fighting Saints trailing by a goal later in the period, Kolb scored to tie the game before notching the eventual game-winner with 51 seconds left in the middle period.

Bradley Koskie, Providence Academy. The junior goaltender stopped a season-high 54 shots in a 6-2 win over Robbinsdale Armstrong/Cooper.

Donte Lawson, Greenway. The junior forward recorded his fourth game of the season with five or more points in a 7-3 win over St. Paul Johnson. He assisted on both Raiders' power-play goals and tallied another assist and two goals with his team at even strength.

Wesley Lideen, Northfield. The junior goaltender recorded two shutouts last week, highlighted by a 1-0 win over Rochester Century in which he made a season-high 36 saves.

Andrew Regner, Minnesota River. The junior goaltender posted a .974 save percentage in a 5-1 win over New Ulm, turning aside 38 shots and not allowing any goals on five penalty kills.

Huck Sorock, Minneapolis. The senior forward had a hand in each of his team's goals to help Minneapolis to a 4-2 win over Minnehaha Academy. Sorock finished with two shorthanded goals and scored another with his team at even strength. He also recorded an assist on a power-play goal.

Tyler Watkins, Hermantown. The senior forward registered four points on special teams in a 5-2 win over Superior. He tallied one goal and one assist on the power play in the first period and scored two shorthanded goals in the third.
